No. 1

Soy sauce No. 1. Yup as you seen above it's a Soy Sauce and all the soy sauce ( i've ever seen ) had the same slogan, always no 1. No one wrote it soy sauce no 2. The variant maybe different, example : sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce or worcestershir sauce ( kecap inggris in bahasa :D ) but still written No. 1 *palm face. So the question is where's the no 2,3, etc huh? I guess it's just a marketing strategy. Consumers want the best product and the manufacturers want their goods sold and received profits (okay..it called  symbiosis mutualism ), then as a good consumer do not easy to persuaded  by the tag line of the advertising itself. We must be clever to choosing a product. As a muslims the most important thing is halal product. And how about me? for me the most importantly things is that  i'm comfortable use it ( and halal of course & I never see a product only from the brand or price :D ). If we are comfortable use it definitely favors come by itself. Hmmmm... btw if there is a Soy Sauce No. 2 in the world out there please tell me because i would definitely buy it ! ( promise ^^V ).
As a humans, sometimes we want to be No. 1 too . It doesn't matter if you want to be no.1 especially if  we want being No. 1 in goodness thing. It's okay to do that as long as you didn't harming others.  There are also a times when we want to be No. 1 in front of others, so we can receive a credits from them and be the center of attention. People who looked at us would said that we're cool, kece, awesome, beautifull etc . And at the end we are lead to be arrogance or cocky person. And it was the same as takabur and ALLAH SWT hated it. Naudzubillahimindzalik. May Allah always protect me from things like that. So if you want to do something let begin with saying BISMILLAH and just straighten intention ( Niat ) and effort perfecting.Let's remind each other :)

Comic time from Zen Pencils - The Two Wolves

Voila ! . . . hello world :D. Today was like another day. Always full of blessings & love & how about your day guys?. Like the picture above the fight between two wolves happen on me too. I start the day with a dawn prayer & hopefully my good side always win this fight. Aamiin.
Today was 12.12.12. I don't know why so many people adore this date. Some even do cesarean  process so they can give birth today, or even purposely married today just because of the unique date . Is it destiny or only our ego as human beings? Or maybe it's just my mind that strange? ( ---> i become busybody :| ) . And accidentally i even load my post on this date. * sigh .. xixixixixi  . But i think every day is a good day, every day was special day because God who created it. And now depending on how we can make every day in our life becomes meaningful. We can start from a small thing like smile :).
So lets smile everyone. Don't let your ego & bad things win and mess your day. Good luck :D

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse

GBP 28 Nov 2012 (Sumber: astro.ukho.gov.uk/eclipse).
http://duniaastronomi.com
A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse will take place on November 28, 2012, the second of two lunar eclipses in 2012 and the last for this year. People in Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, and most of Asia can see the eclipse.
In Indonesia where i lived this eclipse will take place starting at 19:14 pm and ended at 23:51 pm . Months in the eastern sky at an altitude of about 20 degrees. The whole area of Indonesia can witness this phenomenon from start to finish. In general, the appearance of penumbral eclipse is not so special because of the change is the reduced brightness of the full moon. There will be no shadows on the Moon disc as in partial or total eclipse of the Moon. But in almost all parts of the later eclipse the Moon entered Earth's penumbra. But the change will be easily seen after 2/3 the moon has entered the penumbra, which occurred at about 21-22 pm.
In accordance with the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad, Muslims are encouraged to pray sunna eclipse. Moreover, Muslims are encouraged to multiply dhikr, prayer, seek forgiveness, repentance, charity, and other virtues deeds.

"Indeed, solar and lunar eclipses do not occur because of the death or birth of a human being. Then when you see the eclipse, pray to God you guys, takbir, Pray, and do charity!" (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)

Since the eclipse Sunnah prayer performed only when there is an eclipse, it's fair if many Muslims who do not know the procedure for its implementation. Prayer eclipses, both solar and lunar eclipses, more particularly done in Jama'ah. although perform the prayer in Jama'ah not including the main condition of his prayer is valid ( sah ). When approaching the implementation of the eclipse prayer, let muezzin echoed by lafazh "Assholaatu jaami'ah".

Here's your quick guide to the Sunnah prayers procedures of the eclipse.
1. Stand facing the Qiblah, takbiratul ihram, reciting prayers istiftah, ta'awudz read, read al-Fatihah, and reading the long, roughly about one letter al-Baqarah.
2. Takbir, bowing in a long time.
3. Reading 'sami'allahu liman hamidahu Rabbana lakal hamdu', stand back, and read ta'awudz and al-Fatihah, then read a long letter, but the levels are shorter than a letter read during the first stand.
4. Takbir, bowing in a long time, but shorter than bowing to the first.
5. Reading 'sami'allahu liman hamidahu Rabbana lakal hamdu', stand back (i'tidal)
6. Takbir, then bowed, then sat between the two prostrations ( sujud ), then prostrate.
7. Takbir, raka'at stand up for a second, just as the movement moves on raka'at first, but levels of reading letters shorter length.
8. After tasyahud late last greeting.

Hadiths about the eclipse prayer shows that the timeframe is from eclipse to eclipse ends.

Assalamualaikum Wr Wb...

"The world held its breath last night as a ceasefire was finally agreed between warring Israel and Hamas fanatics in Gaza." http://www.mirror.co.uk
Alhamdulillah..Thank God, i'm so glad because there has been cease-fire in Gaza. Hopefully this time it actually reached an agreement so that no civilian victims again, especially childrens who are innocent and didn't know anything about it . Aamiin. Please, do no more war and show of force again. But during the time if my brothers in Palestine been wronged (tyrannized) again , i will support them till the end of time (sorry if you don't agree). It was truly blessed in Muharram month, the Islamic new year. Allahu Akbar..

Day of Ashura

Assalamulaikum ...
Welcome to the month of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic year (a bit late actually hehehehe ..). There was a very special moment in this month and it's the day of Ashura (Ashura is the 10th day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar. While Ashura itself means tenth). As we already know that Ashura is a memorial of things below, where Muslims especially Sunnis believe occurred on the 10th of Muharram :
  • Prophet Noah A.S and his people save from the great flood.
  • Prophet Ibrahim A.S survived the fire Namrudz ( Firaun )
  • Prophet Jacob A.S heal from blindness and he was brought to the Prophet Joseph and meet on the day of Ashura.
  • Prophet Moses A.S survived Pharaoh's army at the Red Sea.
  • Prophet Isa A.S ascended to heaven after the Roman attempt to capture and crucify him failed.
  • Day of mourning the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad at the Battle of Karbala in 61 AH (680)
There is a recommended Sunnah practice on the day of Ashura and it's fasting.
From Abu Hurayrah radi 'anhu he said, the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said :
أفضل الصيام بعد رمضان شهر الله المحرم وأفضل الصلاة بعد الفريضة صلاة الليل
"Fasting is the most important after (fasting) Ramadan is the (fasting) in the month of Allah (months) Muharram, and the most important prayer after the obligatory prayer (five times) is the night prayer." [HR Muslim no 1163].
This noble hadith shows recommended fasting in the month of Muharram, even fasting is more important than any other month, after the month of Ramadan.
And when the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam was asked about his preferment said :
يكفر السنة الماضية
"Fasting is abort (sins) in the past year" [
HR Muslim no 1162].
More particularly if fasting on 10 Muharram ( Asyura ) coupled it with fasting the 9th of Muharram ( Tasu'a ) in order to differentiate from Jews and Christians, because the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam when he presented to the 10th of Muharram is the day that heralded the Jews and Christians.
From Ibn 'Abbaas - radi' anhuma - he said :
فَإِذَا كَانَ الْعَامُ الْمُقْبِلُ – إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ – صُمْنَا الْيَوْمَ التَّاسِعَ
"If I am still alive next year, so really I would fast on the 9th of Muharram (with 10 Muharram)." [HR Muslim no 1134]
Some Ulama have argued sunnah fasting on the 11th of Muharram too, in addition to the 9th and 10th of Muharram, of whom Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyah. But the story is weak and its weak hadith. However, if the intention of fasting is to multiply the 11th of Muharram or fasting to make up fasting three days each month, it does not matter. In fact, he has performed the Sunnah and InsyaAllah it counted as shiyam Dahr
So here i added  islamic calendar if still confused the precise date of 09 & 10 Muharram :D
source :  http://ragilliarach.tumblr.com
PS :
In several days conflicts in Gaza between Palestinian and Israeli Zionists re-heated. I was so sad to see these cruelty of Zionist israel soldiers that continue to attack Palestinians. And even now already fallen many of victims whom are childrens who are innocent. In my opinion, it's reasonable if Mujahideen Palestinians strike back with a force that even lame, because they maintain the area. If it's like this, so who's the real terrorists? I can only pray for my brothers in Palestine was given power, protected and given victory with your help, O Allah. Aamiin ..
In this Muharram month, which many of Muslims are fasting inshaAllah our prayers for them in Palestina were answered by Allah SWT . I hope the blessing and special 10th of Muharram could happen again this year for my brothers in Palestine like Prophet Noah saved from the float, like Prophet Ibrahim survived from Firaun & Moses A.S survived Pharaoh's army at the Red Sea. Aamiin. ALLAHUAKBAR..ALLAHUAKBAR..ALLAHUAKBAR !

Islamic New Year 1434 H (The Hijri New Year)

Islamic new year is coming soon (15 Nov 2012), time for us as Muslims increase our acts & worship also eager to make new resolutions. And my new resolutions for 1434 H are . . . . . . ( it's secret actually & only Allah SWT  who knows my resolution xixixixixi ). Supposedly in the Islamic new year we have to be grateful, happy and celebrate it. However, there are still many of us who are often forgotten and more excited as the turn of the year AD ( 01 Januari ).
As we know that the change of day in Islam itself happens when sunsets or maghrib. Let's do dhikr, prayer and other sunnah worship at that time so years later ( if Allah still given life for us ) hopefully our lives filled with blessings and always in protection. Aamiin.
There is also a prayer ( Dua ) that we can read when the end of the year and into the new year of  Islamic new year.
Here are following prayer for the end of Hijri Year ( read ba'da Ashr or before Maghrib)

 doa akhir tahun hijriah
Meaning:
"In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. May God's blessings and salutations to the lord keep us to Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and companions.O my Lord, what servants do throughout this year in the form of actions that you act forbade slaves to do so, while the unrepentant slave of him and you do not pleased and do not forget it, and you also have fond servant when you power to torture slaves, then you call the servant to repent after adulterous servant. Therefore, I beg forgiveness from you, so forgive me with thy grace. And what has been done this year is the servant of the form that you pleased deeds and reward you promised it, beg thy servant, O Lord, the One of the Most Noble, who has greatness and glory, so that You do not accept the practice servant and should you decide expectations Thy servant, O Essence of the Most Noble. May God's blessings and salutations to the lord keep us to Prophet Muhammad as well as the relatives and friends of his."

These early prayer Hijri (read after Maghrib or later)
 doa awal tahun hijriyah

Meaning:
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.May God continue to bestow mercy and salvation to our master Muhammad, his family and companions.O Allah, You are the Eternal, the past, another beginning. And unto Thy grace and generosity of Thy Great depend on.And this new year really has come. We beseech Thee in this year's protection from (temptation) Satan, lover-lover and his armies. And we are asking for help to defeat the passions that rage took on crime, so we're busy doing charity we can draw closer to You, O One who has the grandeur and glory. May God continue to bestow mercy and salvation to our master Muhammad, the Ummi Prophet, and upon his family and companions."

It is mentioned that whoever reads this dua 3 times (on the last day of the year i.e. this year before Salat-ul-Maghrib on the 15/11/12 ), then the Shaytan says concerning him/her “We have tired ourselves with him/her the entire year, and he/she has ruined our efforts, in one moment”.

Into the sky

Assalamualaikum...
I love looking into the sky. See the blue cloud makes me feel peace [when i am so tired through all these day,,uhhhh >,< ]. I am very grateful for all that i have, a healthy & perfect body with all the senses. It's all can not be exchanged with anything. Your gift so great, O Allah . Alhamdulillah.

"[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?"
"Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued."
Al Quran Surat Al-Mulk (67 : 3-4)

Surat An-Naml (The Ant) - سورة النمل

Today i was pretty tired. And didn't know what to do. So i try to update my blog. I open photo files that i have and try to find inspiration from there. And then i saw a picture that's quite interesting. Well...it's ant picture. That picture took with camera pocket, so be advised if the picture wasn't good. hehehehe...Okay go back to the ants. Why ants are so attracted my attention? because  its reminds me a verse of Al Quran that named An-Naml meaning Ant.
  • Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not." Al Quran Surat An-Naml (27:18)
  • So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants." Al Quran Surat An-Naml (27:19)
Al Quran is a mercy & guidance for the believers. Only Allah SWT who knows about supernatural ( ghaib ) , including Prophet Sulaiman who can speak the languanges of animals. Subhanallah...
We could find a lot of story that inspiring in Al Quran, but sometimes i even try to find inspiration from somewhere else, just as i did just now. Forgive me ya Allah..:'(. You have made such a great Al Quran but i often forget it.
Let's us read & understand Al Quran more and more. InsyaAllah that can save ourselves in this world & in the hereafter. Aamiin..

"And thus We have tried some of them through others that the disbelievers might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?" Surat Al-'An'am (6:53)

"And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful." Surat An-Nahl (16:78)

Welcome the First Ten Days of Dzulhijjah!

let’s strive for more rewards from Allah SWT in this month of Dzulhijjah…

It is reported from Ibn Abbaas(radhiyallahu anhu) that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said: ” There is no day wherein any good action is more beloved to Allah Ta’ala than these ten days (the first ten days of Zul Hijjah)”.

It is also narrated from Ibn Abbaas(radhiyallanhu) that Rasulullah(shallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said: ” No days are as weighty with Allah and so liked by Him for good deeds than the first ten days of Zul-Hijjah “. Therefore in these days increasingly recite: “La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Al-Hamdu-lillah, Sub-hanallah.” (Tabraani).

The Prophet (shallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) has said, “One fast during these days is equal to the fasting of one complete year, and the worship of one night during this period is equal to the worship in the “Lailatul-Qadr”.(Tirmizi)

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

18:1
Sahih International
All praise is [due] to Allah , who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance

18:2
Sahih International
He has made it straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward

18:3
Sahih International
In which they will remain forever

18:4
Sahih International
And to warn those who say, " Allah has taken a son

18:5
Sahih International
They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie

18:6
Sahih International
Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow

18:7
Sahih International
Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed

18:8
Sahih International
And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground

18:9
Sahih International
Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder

18:10
Sahih International
[Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance

18:11
Sahih International
So We cast [a cover of sleep] over their ears within the cave for a number of years

18:12
Sahih International
Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time

18:13
Sahih International
It is We who relate to you, [O Muhammad], their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance

18:14
Sahih International
And We made firm their hearts when they stood up and said, "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never will we invoke besides Him any deity. We would have certainly spoken, then, an excessive transgression

18:15
Sahih International
These, our people, have taken besides Him deities. Why do they not bring for [worship of] them a clear authority? And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie

18:16
Sahih International
[The youths said to one another], "And when you have withdrawn from them and that which they worship other than Allah , retreat to the cave. Your Lord will spread out for you of His mercy and will prepare for you from your affair facility

18:17
Sahih International
And [had you been present], you would see the sun when it rose, inclining away from their cave on the right, and when it set, passing away from them on the left, while they were [laying] within an open space thereof. That was from the signs of Allah . He whom Allah guides is the [rightly] guided, but he whom He leaves astray - never will you find for him a protecting guide

18:18
Sahih International
And you would think them awake, while they were asleep. And We turned them to the right and to the left, while their dog stretched his forelegs at the entrance. If you had looked at them, you would have turned from them in flight and been filled by them with terror

18:19
Sahih International
And similarly, We awakened them that they might question one another. Said a speaker from among them, "How long have you remained [here]?" They said, "We have remained a day or part of a day." They said, "Your Lord is most knowing of how long you remained. So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the city and let him look to which is the best of food and bring you provision from it and let him be cautious. And let no one be aware of you

18:20
Sahih International
Indeed, if they come to know of you, they will stone you or return you to their religion. And never would you succeed, then - ever

18:21
Sahih International
And similarly, We caused them to be found that they [who found them] would know that the promise of Allah is truth and that of the Hour there is no doubt. [That was] when they disputed among themselves about their affair and [then] said, "Construct over them a structure. Their Lord is most knowing about them." Said those who prevailed in the matter, "We will surely take [for ourselves] over them a masjid

18:22
Sahih International
They will say there were three, the fourth of them being their dog; and they will say there were five, the sixth of them being their dog - guessing at the unseen; and they will say there were seven, and the eighth of them was their dog. Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord is most knowing of their number. None knows them except a few. So do not argue about them except with an obvious argument and do not inquire about them among [the speculators] from anyone

18:23
Sahih International
And never say of anything, "Indeed, I will do that tomorrow

18:24
Sahih International
Except [when adding], "If Allah wills." And remember your Lord when you forget [it] and say, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer than this to right conduct

18:25
Sahih International
And they remained in their cave for three hundred years and exceeded by nine

18:26
Sahih International
Say, " Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing! They have not besides Him any protector, and He shares not His legislation with anyone

18:27
Sahih International
And recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no changer of His words, and never will you find in other than Him a refuge

18:28
Sahih International
And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect

18:29
Sahih International
And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place

18:30
Sahih International
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds

18:31
Sahih International
Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place

18:32
Sahih International
And present to them an example of two men: We granted to one of them two gardens of grapevines, and We bordered them with palm trees and placed between them [fields of] crops

18:33
Sahih International
Each of the two gardens produced its fruit and did not fall short thereof in anything. And We caused to gush forth within them a river

18:34
Sahih International
And he had fruit, so he said to his companion while he was conversing with him, "I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in [numbers of] men

18:35
Sahih International
And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself. He said, "I do not think that this will perish - ever

18:36
Sahih International
And I do not think the Hour will occur. And even if I should be brought back to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return

18:37
Sahih International
His companion said to him while he was conversing with him, "Have you disbelieved in He who created you from dust and then from a sperm-drop and then proportioned you [as] a man

18:38
Sahih International
But as for me, He is Allah , my Lord, and I do not associate with my Lord anyone

18:39
Sahih International
And why did you, when you entered your garden, not say, 'What Allah willed [has occurred]; there is no power except in Allah '? Although you see me less than you in wealth and children

18:40
Sahih International
It may be that my Lord will give me [something] better than your garden and will send upon it a calamity from the sky, and it will become a smooth, dusty ground

18:41
Sahih International
Or its water will become sunken [into the earth], so you would never be able to seek it

18:42
Sahih International
And his fruits were encompassed [by ruin], so he began to turn his hands about [in dismay] over what he had spent on it, while it had collapsed upon its trellises, and said, "Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone

18:43
Sahih International
And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah , nor could he defend himself

18:44
Sahih International
There the authority is [completely] for Allah , the Truth. He is best in reward and best in outcome

18:45
Sahih International
And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being] like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability

18:46
Sahih International
Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope

18:47
Sahih International
And [warn of] the Day when We will remove the mountains and you will see the earth prominent, and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone

18:48
Sahih International
And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, [and He will say], "You have certainly come to Us just as We created you the first time. But you claimed that We would never make for you an appointment

18:49
Sahih International
And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?" And they will find what they did present [before them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one

18:50
Sahih International
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange

18:51
Sahih International
I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants

18:52
Sahih International
And [warn of] the Day when He will say, "Call 'My partners' whom you claimed," and they will invoke them, but they will not respond to them. And We will put between them [a valley of] destruction

18:53
Sahih International
And the criminals will see the Fire and will be certain that they are to fall therein. And they will not find from it a way elsewhere

18:54
Sahih International
And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from every [kind of] example; but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute

18:55
Sahih International
And nothing has prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them and from asking forgiveness of their Lord except that there [must] befall them the [accustomed] precedent of the former peoples or that the punishment should come [directly] before them

18:56
Sahih International
And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth and have taken My verses, and that of which they are warned, in ridicule

18:57
Sahih International
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put forth? Indeed, We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if you invite them to guidance - they will never be guided, then - ever

18:58
Sahih International
And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which they will never find an escape

18:59
Sahih International
And those cities - We destroyed them when they wronged, and We made for their destruction an appointed time

18:60
Sahih International
And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period

18:61
Sahih International
But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away

18:62
Sahih International
So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue

18:63
Sahih International
He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly

18:64
Sahih International
[Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints

18:65
Sahih International
And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge

18:66
Sahih International
Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement

18:67
Sahih International
He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience

18:68
Sahih International
And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge

18:69
Sahih International
[Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order

18:70
Sahih International
He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention

18:71
Sahih International
So they set out, until when they had embarked on the ship, al-Khidh r tore it open. [Moses] said, "Have you torn it open to drown its people? You have certainly done a grave thing

18:72
Sahih International
[Al-Khidh r] said, "Did I not say that with me you would never be able to have patience

18:73
Sahih International
[Moses] said, "Do not blame me for what I forgot and do not cover me in my matter with difficulty

18:74
Sahih International
So they set out, until when they met a boy, al-Khidh r killed him. [Moses] said, "Have you killed a pure soul for other than [having killed] a soul? You have certainly done a deplorable thing

18:75
Sahih International
[Al-Khidh r] said, "Did I not tell you that with me you would never be able to have patience

18:76
Sahih International
[Moses] said, "If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse

18:77
Sahih International
So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so al-Khidh r restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment

18:78
Sahih International
[Al-Khidh r] said, "This is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience

18:79
Sahih International
As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force

18:80
Sahih International
And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief

18:81
Sahih International
So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy

18:82
Sahih International
And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience

18:83
Sahih International
And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, "I will recite to you about him a report

18:84
Sahih International
Indeed We established him upon the earth, and We gave him to everything a way

18:85
Sahih International
So he followed a way

18:86
Sahih International
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness

18:87
Sahih International
He said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment

18:88
Sahih International
But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease

18:89
Sahih International
Then he followed a way

18:90
Sahih International
Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield

18:91
Sahih International
Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge

18:92
Sahih International
Then he followed a way

18:93
Sahih International
Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech

18:94
Sahih International
They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier

18:95
Sahih International
He said, "That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam

18:96
Sahih International
Bring me sheets of iron" - until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, "Blow [with bellows]," until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, "Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper

18:97
Sahih International
So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration

18:98
Sahih International
Dhul-Qarnayn said, "This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true

18:99
Sahih International
And We will leave them that day surging over each other, and [then] the Horn will be blown, and We will assemble them in [one] assembly

18:100
Sahih International
And We will present Hell that Day to the Disbelievers, on display -

18:101
Sahih International
Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear

18:102
Sahih International
Then do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as allies? Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging

18:103
Sahih International
Say, [O Muhammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds

18:104
Sahih International
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work

18:105
Sahih International
Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance

18:106
Sahih International
That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and [because] they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule

18:107
Sahih International
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging

18:108
Sahih International
Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer

18:109
Sahih International
Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement

18:110
Sahih International
Say, "I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your god is one God. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone
